cookies :)

mum just asked me if i'm gonna throw away those cookies that i baked long time ago... haha hmm cannot bear to throw leh, can leave as souvenir anot? *mum rolled eyes* aiya my first few attempts to bake cookies leh... haha

Let's see 1st attempt: chocolate cookies
managed to shape them into stars, crescents, hearts but I burned them... after baking for 10min, did the toothpick test but still quite soft leh.... i expected it to be hard mar, nvm continue to bake for another 10 min, another... another... until the oven started to smoke up... hahaha =.="

2nd：Buttery lemon cookies

Luxuan commented that it's nice but the lemon extract tasted weird, wengz and shir said the same :/ amy was supportive by eating most of them lol...touched sia...

3rd attempt: chocolate chip cookies
can say successful lar... but a bit dry to the throat

4th attempt, the day before V's day: Betty Crocker's Double Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Luxuan and I decided that the first few attempts a bit not up to standard so we surrendered to buying instant cookie mix haizz hahaha it was pretty easy just hafta add a bit of oil and egg into the cookie mix and beat the mixture, then put scoops of it into the tray and send them into the oven.

TADA one small scoop -> one gigantic cookie, it freaked luxuan out "My girl's mouth very small one leh..." in the end we had to be extra careful with amount we put into the tray :/ clumsy luxuan had to leave it to me haha he was nagging at me throughout lar... "smaller... smaller..." -.- come to think of it, it was quite a funny experience... we wanted to write some words on the cookies with icing gel but it somewhat corroded the cookies instead X.X

hmm i'll think twice when it comes to baking cookies next time...

It took a lot of courage to give out the cookies haha, thanks to a lot of nudging from wengz, shir and amy or i dun think i'll ever get it delivered :P glad that the cookies are nice :D

April babies :)

4th apr: the class celebrated the april babies' birthday on friday. the cake was good thanks to amy :)

5th apr: had tomyam steamboat at my house for an early celebration XD met amy, wengz and shir at IMM to get the food, not sure wat to get so we kinda spent quite a long time there haha, bought tonnes of food lor XP
reached home at abt 7.30 and had the steamboat ready at 8 phew ate, chit-chat and surfed the channels...
umm a word of caution: we bought cheese sausages which were delicious but... messy so if u dun want to get cheese on ur fren's hair or across the living room, dun buy them... +.+
shir wanna buy 4D number 1617 haha cos Wengz's birthday falls on the 6th, shir's 7th, amy's 16th and mine's 17th lol i wonder if that number will ever come out :P

7th apr: quite excited on that monday morning cos i was looking forward to saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY to wengz and shir XD

to me, telling someone happy birthday = telling the person "i'm so glad that u were born/ i met you". gave them a flower each hope it brightened the rest of their day ^.^
